Tea Towel ♥ Love: Skinny LaMinx

Friday, April 05, 2013

These lovely tea towels arrived all the way from South Africa, thanks to a parcel full of tea love from my dear friend Anne.

The tea towels are made from beautifully printed fabrics by the talented Heather Moore who has a little shop called Skinny LaMinx in my home town. She also has an Etsy shop.

They're such fabulous prints! This one has a tower of tea cups. It's called Everyone Came to Tea and is printed in wedgewood blue. As you can see, I have only just unwrapped them!

It's a kind of sage blue.

... and this one features a collection of spoons and kitchen utensils. It's called Borrowed Spoons and is screen-printed in a pale steel blue/green.

I couldn't resist adding my own spoons to the collection.

They're both printed on an absorbent textured 100% cotton. It has a really lovely feel about it - like thick canvas.

Aren't they fabulous?

Also, Skinny LaMinx has a rather lovely video. You should watch it.
