Happiness is a way of travel

Hello all you lovely blog readers!

This is just a quick note to let you know that we're back safe and sound after an eventful (and rainy) camping trip in Devon. Paris, alack, was postponed, so we opted for a birthday break in the ever-sunny South West. When we arrived, it started drizzling. By the time we'd pitched our tent, it was pouring. And it didn't stop for days. It was lovely and snuggly in the tent though, and we had plenty of quilting books to read, knitting to do, and adventures to have in the car as we explored the nearby towns and harbours.

I'll sort out all of the photographs soon and share my favourites with you. x

  1. So glad that it was not a complete washout so to speak, though I'm not entirely convinced that the quilt books were entirely a shared experience!

  2. It was wonderful! The quilt books were somewhat shared... there was a lot of "what do you think of this?" and "wouldn't this look lovely in our lounge?" - he's very good at affirmative noises when required!
